DROP COCONUT COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
Grated rind of 1 lemon
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 c. moist coconut

Cream butter (butter). Add sugar and cream again. Beat in eggs one at a time, beat well after each addition. Add grated lemon rind. Fold in sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk (begin and end with dry ingredients). Add coconut. Drop from teaspoon, allow room for spreading. Sprinkle a little coconut or chopped nuts on top. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, 375 degree oven. 5 dozen.
