PEANUT BUTTER PINWHEELS | |
1 1/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 egg 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. peanut butter, creamy 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, melted Cream butter, sugars, peanut butter and salt. Add egg, flour and soda. Roll dough into rectangle 1/4" thick between 2 sheets of wax paper. Cover with melted chocolate chips. Roll up dough, beginning on the long side by lifting edge of waxed paper and pulling it straight up. Chill about 1/2 hour, turning often to keep it round. Cut into slices about 1/4" thick. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes about 4 dozen. NOTE: If double recipe, make 3 rolls and use some 18 ounces chocolate chips. |
