BARLEY JAMSETTI 
1 c. barley (boil 1/2 hour and drain)
1 chopped green pepper
2 c. diced celery
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 sm. can peas with liquid
1 lb. ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can tomato soup plus 1 can water
Salt and pepper to taste
Mushrooms and pimento are optional

Brown meat and onions in butter. Add celery and green pepper, cook a few minutes. Add rest of ingredients and put into a casserole dish. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees or 1 hour at 350 degrees.
