1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks
2 c. milk
Dash of salt
4 bananas, mashed
1 pat of butter 1/4 inch thick
1 tsp. vanilla
Vanilla wafers
3 egg whites
3 tbsp. sugar

Mix sugar and flour. Add egg yolks and mix well. Add milk, a little at a time and salt. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat, add butter, vanilla, and mashed bananas. Line dish with vanilla wafers on bottom and along sides. Pour mixture onto wafers. Beat egg whites adding 3 tablespoons sugar until peaked. Spread over pudding. Brown in 350 degree oven.
