BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. round steak, sliced thin
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. onions, chopped
1 can (6 oz.) mushrooms (or 1 pt. fresh)
1 clove garlic, minced
1 c. thick sour cream
1 can cream of tomato soup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1 pkg. (8 oz.) spaghetti
Parmesan cheese

(May use rice instead of spaghetti.)

Cut meat in 3/4 inch cubes and dredge with flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Brown meat in hot shortening. Add onions, mushrooms and garlic.

Combine cream, soup, sauces and green pepper. Pour over meat. Cover. Cook on high until steaming. Then reduce to simmer. Cook spaghetti as directed on package. Serve meat with sauce over spaghetti. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
