3 1/2 c. powdered sugar 2 egg whites 1 tsp. almond extract 1/2 c. shortening 1/4 tsp. salt Beat egg whites stiff; add salt and 1/2 of powdered sugar. Cream shortening with other 1/2 of powdered sugar and almond extract. Combine the two. This keeps well in refrigerator. |
