1 lb. sausage
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. raisins
1 c. nut meats
1 c. cold coffee
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Add sugar to sausage and mix well. Mix soda in coffee, add to the mixture. Beat well. Add spices to flour, add to other mixture. Add nut meats and raisins last. Bake in slow oven, 45 minutes in loaf or bake in 2 layers. Put together with brown sugar icing.
