GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
5 lbs. potatoes
1/2 lb. bacon
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 c. celery, cut up
1/4 c. onions
3 tbsp. sugar, or put in Equal after cooking

Cook potato with peelings on and peel and slice or dice. Cut up bacon and fry until crisp (take out of bacon grease). To bacon grease, add 3 tablespoons flour, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup vinegar, cut up celery or celery salt to taste, onions, 3 tablespoons sugar. Cook until creamy. Put bacon pack in and potatoes. Serve warm.
