PLAY DOH 
3 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
6 tbsp. cream of tartar
3 c. water
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
Food coloring

Mix dry ingredients. Add liquids, blend until smooth. Cook in heavy pan on moderate heat, stir constantly. Remove from heat when dough pulls away from pan sides and can be pinched without sticking to fingers. Knead well. Store in air tight container or Ziploc bag in refrigerator.
