EASY FRUIT COBBLER 
1 qt. fresh fruit or large can or pkg. frozen fruit
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar (more if fruit is tart)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
1 c. milk

Melt butter in baking dish (2 1/2 to 3-quart size). Mix dry ingredients. Add beaten egg and milk. Mix gradually. Place fruit in dish in melted butter. Pour batter over fruit.

Bake in 375°F to 400°F oven about 30 minutes or until brown.
