FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches in peach juice, no sugar
1 (16 oz.) can Bartlett pears in pear juice, no sugar
1 (20 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple chunks
1 pkg. vanilla pudding (NOT instant)
2 bananas
1 c. halved strawberries

Drain fruits, reserving juice. Measure 2 cups and prepare the pudding with the fruit juice instead of milk. Cool slightly. Arrange fruits in a pretty bowl, slicing each pear half into 6 or 8 pieces. Any fresh fruit or berry may be added (or drained no sugar "fruits for salad"). When pudding has cooled for 10 minutes or so, pour the mixture over. Gently lift the fruit here and there to let the pudding settle around it all. Sugar free pudding may be used for diabetics.
