2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter (softened)
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 20 minutes. Spread dough into greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch pan. Cool. Cut into 2 inch squares.
