CELERY AND PEA CASSEROLE 
3 c. cut celery
1 can mushrooms
2 tbsp. butter
2 c. frozen peas (thawed)
3 tbsp. water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. water chestnuts, sliced
1 sm. onion, cut in rings
Chow mein noodles

Simmer celery with mushrooms and butter for 5 to 8 minutes. Keep stirring. Add thawed peas and water. Simmer 5 more minutes. Combine soup, water chestnuts and onion. Blend all together in casserole. Bake 1/2 hour, 350 degrees. Put chow mein noodles on just before serving.
