HONEY CRACKLE POPCORN | |
3 qts. freshly popped corn 1 c. peanuts 1/2 c. butter 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. honey 1 tsp. vanilla Mix together popcorn and peanuts. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in brown sugar and honey. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil gently without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over popcorn and peanuts. Stir until well mixed. Spread out on cookie sheet or shallow pan and bake in a 250 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely. Break apart. |
