FRENCH ONION SOUP 
1/4 c. butter
3 lg. onions
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
4 c. beef stock
1 tbsp. parsley

Slice onions into thin rings. Melt butter in 2 quart saucepan and saute' onions until a deep golden brown. Add beef stock and seasonings. Cover and simmer over low heat 45 minutes. 6-8 servings.
