APPLE DUMPLING 
2 large Granny Smith apples
1 can crescent rolls
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Peel and core apples. Cut into quarters and roll each quarter in a crescent roll. Put into baking dish. Mix other ingredients and pour over rolls.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.

You may substitute peaches for apples.
