SWEET AND SIMPLE COLESLAW | |
1 lg. head cabbage, slivered 2 c. green pepper rings 2 c. onion rings 3/4 c. sugar + 1 tbsp. 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 c. white vinegar 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. vegetable oil Layer cabbage, onion, pepper. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup sugar. combine remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Pour over slaw. Do not toss. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Toss before serving. |
