EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Hershey pure cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt

Sift above together into mixing bowl.

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 tbsp. butter, melted
1 teaspoon white vinegar

Add above mixture and then beat 2 minutes in electric mixer on low, then medium.

1 teaspoon baking soda
3 tbsp. hot water

Dissolve, then add to batter and mix in, beating for 1 minute.

Grease and flour 6 x 10 x 2 inch or 8 x 8 x 2 inch or 9 x 9 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish or pan. Pour in batter.

Bake at 350 degrees in preheated oven, 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool on rack before removing or cutting.

Serve warm, plain, dusted with confectioners' sugar with whipped topping or ice cream, or cool and frost with any desired frosting.
