2 sticks butter 1 c. sugar 1-2 sleeves saltine crackers 12 oz. chocolate chips Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Line with single layer of saltine crackers. Over medium heat, melt the butter and sugar, stirring constantly. Let mixture come to a boil and continue to boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour over crackers. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes until slightly brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over top. As they begin to melt, spread with a knife. Cool in refrigerator for 1 hour. Cut into squares. |
