1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 sm. onion, diced
1 egg, well beaten

Mix dry ingredients. Pour in milk and egg. Mix again then add onion. Stir well. Batter will be thin. Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees, drop in spoonful. Fry until golden brown.
