Have used this recipe for years and lost my recipe card. Everyone loves them. The only alterations I make are that I add 1 to 2 tsp. vanilla extract and use milk instead of water and baking margarine for the shortening. Btw, the pkg. of chocolate chips is meant to be a 6 oz. pkg. or 1 cup of chocolate chips.
