HALF MOON DROP CAKES 
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. shortening (do not substitute butter)
1 1/3 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk

Sift first four ingredients together. Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat eggs and add to cream mixture. Add dry ingredients alternating with sour milk. Drop by tablespoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool. Spread half of each cookie with white frosting and other half chocolate frosting.
