TURKEY STUFFING 
6-8 lb. turkey (12-14 lb. double the recipe or 18-20 lb. triple recipe)
2/3 c. shortening
3/4 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped celery
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. poultry seasoning
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 1/2 c. hot water or broth of neck
16-18 slices bread, broken into sm. pieces

Melt shortening; add onions, celery and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Put seasoning on broken bread and pour mixture over bread. Add hot water or broth a little at a time. (May not need all the water.)
