1 German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
1 stick butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Prepare German chocolate cake mix according to package directions. Pour half of mixture into greased 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Melt together caramels, butter and evaporated milk; add pecans and chocolate chips. Pour over baked cake. Pour remaining batter over caramel mixture. Bake 20 minutes more. Enjoy!
