S.'S SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
2 lb. ground chuck
2 eggs
3/4 c. cracker meal
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt

Mix ingredients with hands. Roll out in little balls. Fry in skillet until lightly browned on both sides, but not cooked through. Remove meatballs from skillet and put in roaster. Leave the heat on under the skillet and, starting with the hot grease and the following ingredients to make a sauce:

SAUCE:

Grease (all that is left in skillet from frying meatballs)
1 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
Water (to thin sauce)
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cumin seed (or more to taste)
1/2 tsp. tarragon
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. steak sauce
1/8 tsp. mushroom powder

Combine and pour over meatballs. Put roaster in oven and cook at 300 to 325 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
