1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup cream cheese 1 cup flour filling (see below) Beat butter and cream cheese until smooth, add flour in small amounts until well-mixed. Form into a ball and chill for at least 1 hour. Roll out dough on floured surface and make into approximately 1 inch balls. Put balls in a greased tart pan and press down. Put 1 tablespoon filling in if you're using a pie filling, jam, or preserves, and bake at 375°F oven until golden brown. Filling ideas: Raspberry, cherry, or strawberry preserves/jam; lemon Jell-O pudding; chocolate pudding; blueberry, apple, or cherry pie filling. Submitted by: E.M. |
