SIMPLE PECAN PIE 
4 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
16 sq. finely crushed (white saltine) crackers
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat egg whites until stiff. Beat in cream of tartar. Add sugar, cracker crumbs, pecans, vanilla and mix. Pour into pie pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Don't overbake. Cool before slicing.
