FLANK STEAK MARINADE | |
1/4 c. soy sauce 2 tbsp. raspberry vinegar (other will do) 1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger 1-2 stalks green onion, chopped (or fresh chives) 2 tbsp. honey (or chopped chutney for a change) 2-3 sm. cloves garlic, minced 1/4 c. corn oil Enough for 1 1/2 pounds of meat. Slice meat diagonally (1/8" thick). Marinate 20 minutes to 8 hours. Place on bamboo sticks, accordion fashion. (Can intersperse with bell peppers, onions and mushrooms.) Broil 4" from flame, just a few minutes. Turn only once. Serve with rice and green salad. |
