1 reg. size pkg. Fritos (save 3/4 c. to layer on top)
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. can chili (no beans) heated in saucepan
1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 lb. hamburger meat, browned & drained (optional)

Using medium baking dish, layer Fritos, hamburger meat, chili, onions and 1 cup cheese. Top all with remaining 3/4 cup Fritos and cheese. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted.
