OATMEAL BREAD 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. honey
1 tbsp. yeast
3 1/2 c. whole wheat flour

Pour boiling water over the oats. Add the salt; stir and cool.

Dissolve the yeast in warm water; then to the oats add honey, oil, and yeast. Gradually stir in the flour. Knead for 5 minutes on floured surface.

Oil a large bowl and place dough in bowl. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Then punch down and place into an oiled loaf pan. Let rise again for 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes.
