CHILLED ASPARAGUS LEMONETTE 
1 tbsp. onion, finely chopped
3 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/3 c. water
3/4 c. white cooking wine
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. dried parsley
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
3 (15 oz.) cans tender green asparagus

Blend all ingredients except asparagus. Drain asparagus. Arrange asparagus in dish to allow marinade to contact asparagus as much as possible. Cover and marinate for several hours or overnight in refrigerator. Drain before serving. Note: Can use 1 pound fresh asparagus, washed and snapped. Microwave with 2 tablespoons water for about 2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
