CUSTARD PUDDING | |
2 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar or 1/3 c. honey 3 whole eggs beaten or 4 egg yolks 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 c. grapenut cereal (optional) Blend milk and sugar together until sugar is dissolved. Add the eggs and blend well. Add the vanilla. If you wish, as an added boost, add 1/2 cup grapenut cereal to the bottom before putting custard mixture in the baking dish. Place the blended mixture in a glass baking dish, then place that dish in a larger glass bowl and fill the larger one with water so it covers 1/2 way up the custard dish. Bake at 300 - 325 degrees for 1 - 1 1/4 hours. Done when a knife is inserted in and the middle comes out clean. |
