CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE | |
2 1/2 c. flour 1 c. buttermilk 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 lb. butter 2 c. sugar 4 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 10 plain Hershey bars (melted in double boiler with 4 tbsp. water 2/3 c. chopped pecans Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Add flour and buttermilk alternately. Mix with electric mixer at medium speed. After thoroughly mixed, add melted Hershey bars which have been cooled. Add nuts. Bake in stem pan 1 3/4 hours at 325 degrees. |
