1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. sugar
Black pepper to taste
1 tsp. salt
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (5 oz.) pkg. noodles
1/2 c. onion, diced
1 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
Grated cheese
1 can mushrooms

Cook hamburger and onion until color changes. Add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce. Cook slowly for 15 to 20 minutes. Cook noodles according to directions. Drain, mix with meat mixture. Add softened cream cheese to sour cream and then to meat and noodles. Add mushrooms. Pour into casserole dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serves 8.
