BREAD PUDDING FLAN 
2 c. milk
7 slices bread, trimmed
4 eggs
5 tbsp. sugar
2 oz. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook milk, sugar and butter until butter is melted. Add bread in small pieces, vanilla and eggs. Put in a blender until like milk shake. Grease a Pyrex pan, pour the mix in and bake it for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

SYRUP:

Heat 1 1/2 cups sugar. When melted but not burned add 2 ounce butter and 1 1/2 cups water. When it becomes syrup add it while hot to the flan - piercing flan with a fork.
