SCANDINAVIAN FRUIT SOUP | |
1 (12 oz.) pkg. mixed dried fruit 1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. grape juice 2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 3" cinnamon sticks 2 or 3 slices of lemon 1 (8 oz.) can pitted sweet cherries Measure all ingredients except cherries, into large saucepan. Heat until boiling, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until fruit is tender, 30 to 40 minutes. Stir in cherries with syrup and heat. |
