LEMON HERB GRILLED CHICKEN WITH
VEGETABLE KEBABS
 
2 to 2 1/2 lb. chicken pieces
3/4 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. lemon juice
2 tsp. French's seasoned salt
2 tsp. French's paprika
2 tsp. French's sweet basil
2 tsp. French's thyme
1/2 tsp. French's garlic powder
Zucchini
Mushrooms
Peppers
Toma toes

Place chicken in heavy plastic bag. Combine remaining ingredients except vegetables; pour over chicken. Seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator several hours or overnight. Make vegetable kebabs by threading 1 inch chunks of vegetables on skewers. Broil or grill chicken and vegetables 4 inches from heat source 5 to 8 minutes per side for vegetables and 15 to 20 minutes per side for chicken or until done. Baste often with marinade.

To shorten marinating time, place chicken and marinade mixture in 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Microwave, covered, on high 10 minutes. Grill 8 to 10 minutes per side.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
