DO IT YOURSELF CANDY BARS 
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. shredded dry coconut
1/2 c. toasted rice cereal
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts

In a microwave safe bowl, heat the chocolate in a microwave oven for one minute. Stir. Repeat until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Stir in the raisins, coconut, nuts and rice cereal.

Cover a flat tray with wax paper. Spoon chocolate mixture onto paper into 8 bars, each about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long; smooth with a spatula. Chill until firm to touch, about 1 hour. Eat, or wrap each bar in plastic wrap; chill up to 2 weeks. 8 bars.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
