4 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. grated lemon rind 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon Generous dash of brandy 3 lg. Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced 1/2 inch thick Place the butter in a heavy skillet over low heat. Add lemon rind, sugar, cinnamon, and brandy. Stir to blend. Add apple slices. Cook, turning occasionally, for about 15 minutes or until apples are golden brown. Serve immediately. Serves: 3. |
