CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
6 lg. eggs
Dash of salt
3 c. cake flour

Cream butter and cream cheese. Add sugar one cup at a time. Add vanilla and eggs, one egg at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add salt and flour. Mix well. Pour batter into a greased and floured tube cake pan. Place pan in a warm oven set at 325 degrees F. Bake for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Cool in pan. May be slightly soft in middle.
