BLACK FOREST CHERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. devils food cake mix
1 sm. bottle maraschino cherries
1 can cherry pie filling
1 c. whipping cream, whipped
Chocolate curls

Bake cake according to directions on the box for two 9 inch cake pans. Cool on wire rack. Drain cherries, reserving 2 tablespoons syrup. Sprinkle syrup over 1 cake layer and spread with pie filling. Place remaining layer on top. Spread whipped cream over top and sides of cake. Decorate with cherries and chocolate curls. Serves 12.
