2 cup flour
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup cocoa
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup salad oil
1 1/2 Cold water

Sift the first five ingredients together in a 9 X 13 cake pan. Cut three holes into the mixture. In the first hole put the vinegar, in another put the vanilla and in the last put oil. Pour water over all of them. Mix with spoon and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
