CHEESE CHICKEN | |
1 frying chicken, cooked, skinned & deboned (I use 5 chicken breasts) 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can chicken broth 1 box Stove Top dressing mix, chicken flavor (I use cornbread flavor & buy box not the can) 1/3 (of a 2 lb.) box Velveeta cheese 1/2 c. milk Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with non-stick spray or brush with vegetable oil or melted butter. Reserve 2-3 tablespoons of broth for later. Combine cheese, broth, soup and milk in saucepan and heat until melted. Prepare dressing per box instructions. Layer bottom of pan with all of chicken. Pour half of cheese mixture over chicken. Spread dressing on top of cheese. Add remaining cheese mixture over dressing. Spoon chicken broth over all. Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes until top is brown. Serves 10. |
