2 sticks butter
1 1/4 lbs. nuts
1 c. sugar
2 egg whites

Melt butter in cookie sheet. Add nuts and coat well with melted butter. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in 1 cup of sugar. Pour over nuts and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hours. Important: stir nuts every 10 minutes. Cool.
