HOT MULLED CIDER 
2 qts. apple cider
2-3 cinnamon sticks, or 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Cloves
3 oranges, sliced
Cinnamon sticks

Pour cider into saucepan and stir in cinnamon (or sticks) and nutmeg. Insert cloves into orange slices and add to cider. Simmer slowly; do not boil. Add the spirits to the cider just before serving, placing a cinnamon stick in each mug. Makes 8-10 servings.
