2 c. brown sugar
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter, cut into bits

Mix in bottom of ungreased baking dish (fairly deep baking dish). 1/2 c. milk 3 tbsp. sugar Dash of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 2 tbsp. melted butter

Sift flour and baking powder twice. Mix ingredients and place on top of brown sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
