WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. wheat germ
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 c. ripe bananas, cut up
1/2 c. honey
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Measure the flour, wheat germ, baking soda and salt into a large bowl. Blend together. In the bowl of a food processor, combine the eggs, banana, honey, vegetable oil, lemon juice and vanilla until well blended. Pour over the flour mixture. Add the walnuts. Stir with a rubber spatula until just blended. Pour into a greased and floured 8 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees until the sides pull away from the pan and a pick inserted in the center comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes. Cool on a rack before removing from pan.
