FRESH PUMPKIN PIE 
1 qt. pumpkin pulp
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. light brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
4 eggs
1/2 tall can evaporated milk
2 c. milk

Cook pumpkin, drain well and mash or put through food chopper; measure to make 1 quart pulp.

Mix sugar, spices and eggs together well. Add pumpkin and milk. Pour into two unbaked 10" pie shells. Bake at 300 degrees until mixture is firm. Makes 2 (10") pies.
