YAMS IN BURGUNDY 
4 to 5 sweet potatoes
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. red table wine
1/4 c. butter
Dash of salt

Peel sweet potatoes and boil about 30 minutes until tender. Make sauce while potatoes cook as follows: Mix together in saucepan the sugar, wine, butter, and salt. Cook until boil is reached.

Slice potatoes and place in baking dish. Pour sauce over potatoes and bake about 15 minutes in moderate (350 degree) oven.
