CAKE BATTER:

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 sticks butter
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. canned milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix first 3 ingredients (sifted). Mix next 3 ingredients and boil. Add to flour mixture. Mix remaining four ingredients and add. Bake in greased sheetcake pan at 350 degrees for approximately 30 to 40 minutes. While cake is in oven prepare frosting. Pour frosting over hot cake. Delicious.
